Easy Naan Pizza Recipe

Thinking what to do with leftover naan? Make Naan Pizza. You will surely thank me for this easy naan pizza recipe. Last week, we had a dinner party and guess what, due to some last minute cancellations we were left with extra butter chicken and naan bread. And the next day, butter chicken naan pizza was our quick dinner. Naan pizza layered with rich tomato sauce and topped with butter chicken tastes simply divine. Don’t be stringent while adding cheese, after all, pizza tastes so much better with extra cheese.  The combination of butter chicken and cheese is a guaranteed riot of flavors. This particular naan pizza is phenomenal because it has two of my favorite things – first butter chicken, I adore butter chicken. Secondly, super thin and crisp crust. Why is it so amazing? Well, actually, I think I know why (crispy outside, soft inside).

Aloo Ki Fulori (Gluten Free Potato Fritters)

Fulori is the regional term for fritters prepared with the vegetables and gram flour. If you have travelled across the old cities of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar then somewhere by the roadside, a food cart selling ‘fulori‘ might have caught the attention of your food senses. Batter coated vegetables, popularly known as pakoras, are one of the popular snack bites in India. How fulori is any different from the regular pakora? To my knowledge, Fulori is prepared with a combination of different flours, vegetables and is generally of bit size. In simple words, it is just another way to enjoy the deep-fried vegetables. Aloo Ki Fulori is a gluten free potato and gram flour fritter with an addition of buckwheat flour minus any onion or garlic. These fritters are crisp, crunchy and addictive, you can’t stop at one or two pieces. And they have enough edge to compliment the green chutney and a cup of masala chai. What a great combination when these fritters are served piping hot with a finger licking good chutney!

Soya Manchurian Recipe

Soya Manchurian Recipe is one of our school-days favourite Indo-Chinese Recipe. For the after school snack, my mother would prepare a large casserole full of Soya Manchurian along with fried rice. We used to look forward to evenings laced with Soya Manchurian and fried rice. When Sandhya suggested Soya Manchurian Recipe for the guest post, I agreed happily as there are plenty of childhood memories tied around this particular dish. Fish Tikka Recipe

Fish and grilling are two of my favorite duo during this time of the year. We as a family are not big time fish eaters. But somehow after our stay in the Southern Coastal Regions of the country we get hooked to grilled fishes. The intense heat of the grill transforms tender fish into something pretty special. And for me as a cook, who is not very familiar with the nitty-gritty of cooking a typical fish curry, grilling is the best way to serve fish for a meal in no time. The hint of smoky flavor underneath the spicy marinade layer is what compel us to make Grilled Fish again and again. When we as a food-loving couple, think of dinner dates, one alternative is to dine at romantic restaurants or the second recourse is to plan romantic dinners at home. We usually go by the second choice.
