Just another mundane weekday full of traffic hues, routine hustle and a workshop on Peanut Butter to attend at sharp 10 am and those who are accustomed to madcap Bangalore traffic must sympathize with me because reaching Brigade Road from Whitefield on weekday on time itself an achievement and to my surprise despite all odds I made it 10 minutes before time, so unlike me!!!
AgroTech Foods Limited was behind this knowledgeable workshop on Peanut Butter and it’s health benefits and to introduce us to the nutritional goodness of Peanut Butter they invited Dr. Swarupa Kakani, Chief Nutritionist at Sagar Hospital, Bangalore, she is been working as a renowned nutritionist from past 20 years but when you meet her you will realize she is one simple woman with calm and composed personality.
Dr. Swarupa personally recommends Peanut Butter and says, “I recommend Peanut Butter as a tasty and healthy alternative to people across all age groups for complete nutrition everyday.” She explained her words by sharing certain facts about the health benefits of Peanut Butter which were quite an eye opener for all the people present in the workshop, first of all as per a famous study results Peanut Butter reduces the risk of Breast Cancer in women and secondly Peanut Butter has Zero Trans Fat when compared to butter and cheese, these two facts were enough for me to fall for Peanut Butter.
AgroTech launched Peanut Butter 5 years back but now there sole focus is penetration into the Indian market with the motive of “Nourishing People, enriching lives”, to meet the specific requirement of Indian taste buds company has set up a plant in Gujarat. So far two flavors of Peanut Butter are available in the market – Regular Flavor and Honey Roast in Creamy & Crunchy variant but soon they are planning to launch spicier version of Peanut Butter keeping in mind the Southern Indian Buyers.
Talking about these gorgeous Browndies, now you must be thinking what the hell is Browndie, so here’s the story for you… When I put them in the oven for baking till then they were suppose to be Blondiesbut then I got a call from my friend and by the time I checked my oven these ladies looked nowhere near Blondies, when my husband asked me what you made today so I thought for a minute and said Browndie = Blondie+Browniebut whatever be the name combination of Peanut Butter and Chocolate is deadly and addictive too.
Along with the Blondies I squeezed in some Peanut Butter in my Banana Smoothie and Apple Crumble and now I am Peanut Butter high, not so joking …I am addictive to it and don’t mind digging into the Peanut Butter every time I pass by that bottle.
Thanks to Mr. Ashish Sharma (VP Marketing, AgroTech Foods Limited), Abhinav and Murali for inviting me to be part of such a wonderful event. Special thanks to Deepthi and Rajni for your lovely company.
